The PP calls the General Structural Plan a "dark and secret" project
María Mut, councilor responsible for urban issues in the Popular Party of Dénia, has again denounced the slowness of the process of preparing the General Structural Plan in which the government team has been working for a year.
The popular mayor lamented that at the last meeting they had with the editors "They didn't tell us anything new". Mut has reported that after a year and spent 122.000 euros have only seen "A previous draft, called a document of guidelines, of just 20 pages that nobody develops further, because, according to them, they cannot give us more information nor can there be any kind of citizen participation, for the moment". Which it is why we did not hesitate to label this project "dark and secret"Being a job "Of which they don't give us the slightest clue".
Mut remember "In the previous legislature, the popular party presented a general structural plan" cooked "by all members of neighborhood associations, builders, businessmen, political groups ... who wanted to put their grain of salt, who wanted to season with their condiments, and that contributed their ideas so that the "stew" was to everyone's taste and was as consensual as possible among all. After all, it was the General Structural Plan that was going to direct the growth of our city and in which all the aforementioned parties were represented ".
Also popular councilor requires the government team they talk about the economic viability of the plan, because from his group want to know, among other things, "How much will the expropriation of the land necessary to make the expansion of certain roads in Dénia cost us from our pocket".
Appeal against the award of the project of the College of La Xara
Popular also announced that last 19 May was presented for check-in the city of Dénia a company that had been submitted to public tender to develop the project of the College of La Xara had filed an appeal against the award of same.
According to the PP, the government team lied during the last plenary session, when they themselves asked them about this matter and did not get an answer.
Regarding the La Xara school, the PP spokesperson on educational issues, Pepa Sivera, recalled that the Department announced the start of work in the second semester of 2016, that is, in the month of July. But first, three reports must be presented that should be favorable, so the PP wonders how long the construction of the school will be delayed after the change of project approved by EATIM last month to rescue the old school building and give it a cultural use.
