The works in Dénia are being a real headache for neighbors and visitors. Currently, with all that is underway, the government team has been forced to modify even the circulation through the center of the city.
Precisely the merchants of that area demonstrated only a few days ago against the dates chosen for the realization of these works, and in their protest had the support of the councilors of Citizens and the Popular Party in Dénia.
The latter have been mobilized to formally request the City Council to suspend the work on La Mar Street in the months of July and August, and not to start any of the works planned during those months. This will be raised to the plenary of this month, in which they will present this motion "so that the economy of the services sector of the city does not suffer anymore".
The councilors of the PP Isabel Gallego and Pepa Sivera have reported this motion at the Dénia Bus Station, to where they have moved to show their discomfort and disagreement with the project and the result.
Knowing that the government team will make some modifications to correct the errors, the councilors want to know how much those changes will cost and who will take care of them, and why not all the land available to make the infrastructure has been used.
