The councilor of the PP and in charge of the party department until 2011, Pepa Sivera, has shown her party's rejection of the transfer of the stands of the peñas de Bous a la Mar of the port, where they were historically located.

For Sivera, this is "An example of lack of planning and total neglect on the part of the City Council, since four scarce months after the start of the Fiesta recognized nationally as of Tourist Interest, it is incomprehensible that they make public their refusal just now". Furthermore, recalling the words of Grimalt in election campaign, he regrets that the current mayor spoke of "incompetence, lack of planning, neglect of the previous government team" every time he referred to the port of the city.

The popular councilor reminds the mayor Dénia "I should have a much more active role in the port issues, as he said before being mayor. But seen what we see we see how in positions of the Generalitat, technicians continue to send, rather than politicians". As for the proposed new locations, Sivera is surprised that the first option was the parking lot next to La Via, right behind a hotel.

Pepa Sivera ends demanding the mayor and Councilwoman holidays "That he stands up to Ports and defends the interests of the city, without any fear. We will be there to support him; and to Compromis, I demand that they be present in the public scene of the city, because today they are not seen active in decision-making for the good of Dénia. And we wonder ... what do the members of Compromis who have been party councilors think of this decision of the PSOE both in Valencia and in Dénia? They have nothing to say? the current Councilor for Festivities? Will she continue to defend the traditions of our city in terms of festivals and culture or will she let herself be carried away by the decisions made by her government partners and her own in Valencia? ".
