The PP calls for the removal of councilor Josep Crespo for his "disastrous and null management"

The councilors of the Popular Party of Dénia María Mut and Pepa Sivera have demanded on Thursday the mayor of the city, Vicent Grimalt, to dismiss the councilor responsible for street and beach cleaning, Josep Crespo, considering that his management during this first year of government is "ominous and null".

The councilors have been exemplified dirt streets and especially the appearance of rats in the city center in recent days, so ask the mayor to be raised if Crespo is a competent person to lead these areas of action .

Popular denounced the containers of the major tourist areas are overcrowded and give off odor and that despite the tourism has grown in the city, has not made the collection of waste. Also they echoed dirt that accumulates in the green bins in the suburbs, whose garbage ends up in the ravines around.

As for the beaches, Mut and Sivera have reported that the collection of algae this summer has been scarce, in some cases preventing swimmers from accessing the water by the amount of Posidonia that was stored on the shore. They have also pointed out that the trucks and personnel to clean the beach areas passed in peak traffic hours on our beaches.

They claim they are already several months leading councilor by forwarding complaints from neighbors and his own on street cleaning and beach, but they explain, it has not been echoed their requests.

So yes, Josep Crespo wanted to highlight that this year is being made more cleaning hours than ever, "the number of wastebaskets and containers has been expanded and the garbage collection service has doubled in the most affluent areas of the city".

As for the actions being carried out from their departments, he stressed cleaning scuppers and regachos that is currently underway and an upcoming campaign to clean up the points where containers and bins are installed. He also announced that in October will begin to install a total of 150 concrete structures around containers that do not move your site.

Regarding the cleaning of beaches, the councilor has reminded the popular ones that the current concessionary company complies with the contract that Ana Kringe's government team drew up, with the personnel and materials that are stipulated. The only point that so far has not been fulfilled is the construction of an algae treatment plant, an infrastructure that will be installed on the plot adjacent to the composting plant and whose construction is awaiting authorization from the Department.

Crespo has asked the PP "Stop alarmisms" because "the situation is not catastrophic".
