Les Corts The PP does not support a motion to settle the debt with MACMA

16 October 2012 - 00: 00

The socialist group in Les Corts presented a few days ago a motion by which demanded to pay off the debt that maintains different estates of the Generalitat Valenciana with MACMA (Mancomunitat Cultural de la Marina Alta). However, the Popular Party did not support this motion.

The socialist deputy Jordi Serra was surprised that the popular parliamentary group blocks initiatives "which have had the unanimous support of local corporations". For Serra, "It is illogical that at this time municipalities are being urged to pool services, while existing associations are being suffocated, as in the case of MACMA, CREAMA or MASSMA."

Serra has registered other initiatives to know the debt that the Generalitat maintains with other associations and associations of the Marina Alta, such as CREAMA, MASSMA and APROSDECO to know when they will pay the aid that is owed.

Outrage over the state of the beaches during the bridge

On the other hand, the socialist councilor Pep Marí has been outraged with the state of the beaches during this bridge. According to Marí, the city council excuses itself with the fact that the company has just received the contract award and has not had time to get to work, "There are no excuses for us, since while this is happening, the city council is the owner of the shovels and cleaning trucks, that is, the maximum and only responsible party."

Marí also asks for the resignation of the beach councilor, Sisco Signes, because "His lack of management at the front has put the next summer campaign in danger due to the image that has been given in the last week."
