White Pedreguer was too rival for Dénia Basketball

27 December 2019 - 12: 14

The Dénia Basketball senior girls closed the first phase of the league with a loss to the powerful White Pedreguer (77-56). A defeat that does not reflect at all the good game played by the team in the Pedreguer pavilion.

The injuries left the team led by Juan Luis Pérez with only eight players available to visit the unbeaten leader of the group on this last day of the first phase of the competition, six of them still junior.

Pedreguer-Dénia senior women's match

The dianenses' own mistakes caused precisely by that inexperience were those that prevented them from being closer on the scoreboard. Despite this, we must applaud the effort made and the capacity for work and struggle shown throughout the meeting.

This match closes the first phase in which the dianenses have clearly gone from less to more and this makes them reach the Preferred championship ready to fight and above all continue to grow individually and collectively.

Clear victory of the juniors in Benidorm (31-73)

Great victory of the Junior Women's team on the last day of the first phase of the competition playing with great seriousness and good game despite the limited workforce with which they moved to Benidorm.

The seven players who intervened controlled the pace of the game at all times and perfectly regulated the risks with the fouls to arrive in optimal conditions at the end of the match.

This triumph and the defeat of Terralfas on this day leaves the first group of dianenses and qualifies for the Preferred Championship after the Christmas break.
