The Ministry considers that the Blay Beach and Marineta Cassiana beaches have 'high priority' to be regenerated

November 04 from 2015 - 17: 31

The historic problem of the beaches Blay Beach and Marineta Cassiana of Dénia has been recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment. These beaches, which are swallowed by the water in the autumn and winter storms that arrive year after year to the city, have from now on high priority in the actions of the ministry.

This is the conclusion drawn from the final report of the action strategy to improve the beaches with erosion problems on the south coast of Valencia, and noted as priority the beaches of Deveses, Molins, Bovetes, Marines and Marineta Cassiana.

This has been transmitted by the head of the Provincial Coastal Service of Alicante, Rosa de los Rios, in the meeting held with the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, the Councilor for Territory and Urban Quality, Maria Josep Ripoll and the councilor for Environment, Josep Crespo.
