The Local Council for Children and Adolescents is a consultative and participatory body that was created to collect the right to children "Express opinions freely" since these opinions "Be duly taken into account", contemplated in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

In the session held yesterday, the children already put on the table some of the issues related to the city that concern them and that they want to address at the Consell, such as the environment, pollution, parks and gardens, Leisure areas or food served in schools.

These issues, and any others that arise, will be dealt with in the monthly meetings to be held by the CLIA commission, composed only of the conselles and consellers and the facilitators.

The Consell will hold another session in June, where proposals for the city worked during the school year will be presented.
