The "IX Ciutat de Dénia Triathlon" will tour Marina de Dénia

The Dénia Marina and Tourist Port has collaborated so that the "IX Triatló Ciutat de Dénia" can be held at its facilities. This is the main novelty of a sporting event that will start at 16:1 p.m. next Saturday, June XNUMX. The president of the Marina Alta Multiesport Sports Club, Jaime Donderis, organizer of the event, has commented that to carry out the triathlon "We thought that in Marina de Dénia it was going to be visually much more attractive to the general public and also to the participants".

The test will start with swimming, covering 750 meters on the Marineta Casiana beach, in a triangle-shaped circuit delimited by buoys. Once finished, the athletes must take the bicycles to find the Las Marinas road and reach kilometer 3,5 where they will have to make a 180º turn and return to the Red Cross roundabout.

They will have to go around this route three times and then go back to the Marineta Casiana to start the race on foot along the beach promenade towards Las Rotas for about 300 metres, where they will turn around and come back until they enter Marina de Dénia, where they will be located the finish line of the Triathlon, specifically between the Isla Tortuga and Republic restaurants.

The triathlon is open to everyone and to participate you must register on the website of the Triathlon Federation of the Valencian Community (www.triatlocv.org). The registration period ends on Wednesday May 29. Categories, both male and female, ranging from cadet to veteran C. The organization will give trophies to the top three in each category and the top three teams.
