The IBI will rise twice

January 12 from 2012 - 00: 48

In an interview with Radio Dénia, the councilor of Hacienda Vicente Chelet has confirmed that the citizens of Denia will suffer a double increase of the IBI: the one already stipulated by the government team and the one that the central government (of the 10%) imposes on the municipalities that have not carried out a cadastral review before 2002.

Chelet has indicated that if the local government had known the rise that was going to establish the central government, would not have proceeded to the rise at the local level. However, he assures that there is no turning back because the Royal Decree prohibits it.

Overall, dianenses pay an average of 20 euros per household from this year.
