The Hospital de Dénia has enabled several electronic devices so that patients who attend daily hemodialysis and day hospital services can have them for recreational use. Disposable headphones have also been made available so as not to disturb other patients.

The devices, connected to the Marina Salud network, have been configured so that users can use them in a simple and intuitive way. This is a "kiosk" type deployment modality where only the minimum necessary applications are offered, such as: information and audiovisual channels, magazines and music.

Thanks to this initiative, hemodialysis and cancer patients, who do not have other mobile devices, can stay entertained during the duration of their treatment. This type of activity also helps them to better cope with their disease process.

This project is part of the humanization strategy and has been made possible thanks to the collaboration of various associations of the Marina Alta. The Director of Care and Services, Natalia Casado, appreciates the generosity of the associations and companies in the region: "Thanks to gestures like this, we have been able to launch innumerable humanization initiatives that seek to improve the patient's stay in the Hospital."
