Communiqué of the Intersindical Salut

Information that contradicts the one sent by Intersindical Salut in a communication that indicates that after the meeting of the Committee on Occupational Safety and Health, in the case concerning the protocol against the Ebola virus, it is requested that measures be taken to Ensure the integrity of staff against possible contagion.

From the Intersindical it was requested the installation of preventive screens in the counters where the personnel would have the first contact with a possible infected patient, not only of Ebola but of other diseases.

The statement indicates that this request has been denied by the representatives of the administration and point out that the cause could be the high cost that this would mean in health centers and in the Hospital.

From the organization regrets that after the passage of the days, Marina Health has not submitted to the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, the specific training plan in the face of a possible outbreak. At the same time, the personnel guidelines have not been given and the requests of the Committee and the Statutory and Labor Personnel dependent on the company have been ignored.
