Dénia Hospital hosts the seventh edition of pharmacotherapeutic Management Program

The Marina Salud Hospital hosts during this week the VII Edition pharmacotherapeutic Management Program, Shared with Dr. Moliner Hospital of Valencia attended by dozens of experts in hospital pharmacy event.

According to the Head of the Hospital Pharmacy Dénia, Jaime Poquet, "The future of the hospital pharmacy is in the personalization of the treatments. Precisely this year we are planning to start the English Cathedra of Modern Oncology Research (ECMOR); a project between Jávea Cancer Care, the Cardenal Herrera University, CEU, of Valencia and Marina Salud. The project, led by the Medical Oncology and Pharmacy services, will allow greater efficacy and lower toxicity of cancer treatments, thanks to the personalization of therapies. "

For his part Dr. Javier Carrera Hueso, Chief Pharmacist at the Dr. Moliner Hospital in Valencia, highlighted "that the future of Health is to devote more resources to the care of chronicity, which will cause a decrease in hospital admissions for acute patients."
