Forum of Local Agenda 21 knows the Plan of Action for Health

Created as a road map and intended to serve as a reference to the current and future government team to plan and execute actions related to a healthy lifestyle and environment, last Tuesday the Plan of the 21 Local Agenda presented the Plan of Action for Health (PAS) to the citizens.

The Agenda technician, Jesús Reina, was in charge of introducing the plan, its objectives and methodology, and then Dr. Rafael Sala, health care director of the Dénia Hospital health department presented the first major block of PAS actions: " campaigns and participatory action ".

Inés Roig as a pharmacist, and Pablo Segarra as president of the Local Board of the AECC in Dénia explained the actions corresponding to the "healthy city model" and a "healthy and safe environment".

After the explanations of all the sections, the attending citizens participated in the turn of prayers and questions. On the part of the association of disabled AMADEM, it was requested to include more explicitly actions aimed at the awareness and prevention of mental health conditions.

From the CDL they proposed therapy with animals in children and from the PSPV-PSOE they bet that any action contemplated is governed by the criterion of sustainability.

In the next plenary session of April will proceed to approval to update the strategic line number four current revised 2010, while complete a requirement of the Spanish Network of Healthy Cities FEMP to Local Action Plan its members municipalities.
