The EMFB team Dénia Alevín “A” champion of the 'Tournament Safor Cup Spring 2018'

Taking advantage of the federative rest for the Easter holidays, some clubs chose to organize tournaments. This was what happened in the region of La Safor where the Baseball Tournament Safor Cup 2018. A competition that had three venues, Xeresa, Xeraco and Alquería de la Condesa.

Dianense representation was that of a team of children's category and two juvenile category of the EMFB Dénia, who had a very outstanding performance throughout the tournament

The FV Dénia's second-year fry set won the championship title by defeating Valencia CF by 4 to 1 in the final. The dianenses finished the first phase of the tournament in second place after the CF Torre Levante. The boys of Toni Lledó won 4 matches and tied one. In the quarterfinals they beat the Alicante Beaches by 1 to 0. In the semifinals they won the CF Torre Levante by 2 to 1.

In the same category but first year, the FB Dénia was a finalist but could not add the title of champion to fall in the semifinals against Elda Promesas by 0 to 1. In the first phase the dianenses finished as first group, winning 2 matches and draw 1. In the quarterfinals the team led by Llorens Molina won the City of Pinto by 1 to 0.

The children's team had a good performance at the end of the first phase as second group, after the Aranjuez team. The dianenses in this phase won 2 matches and lost 1. In the quarterfinal tie the kids led by Vicent Ortiz, lost to the City of Pinto by 1 to 0.
