It should be remembered that the team announced in March that this year the club would have two sailboats of the same model, the Beneteau First 40.7, to compete in an ambitious regatta program. Both boats were going to participate in the 39th edition of the Copa del Rey de Vela, one of them with a 100% female crew. This great regatta has been postponed until 2021 "For health responsibility".

As reported by Chiqui González “At the club we are eager to resume activity. In the month of October, there are complete sports events that should have been held in the spring, such as the Banco de España Regatta, the Ruta de la Sal or PalmaVela. We are also pending the possibility that the Royal Nautical Club of Dénia organize the Diana de Oro for July 12, which we would attend ".

Thus, in the month of August, the organization and the candidates to participate in the Pelayo Life-Tour of Spain 2020 Sailing Challenge, under the sports direction of the sailors Angela Pumariega, gold medalist in London, and Diego Fructuoso, Olympic coach They will be in Marina El Portet de Dénia to select the adventurers who will be part of this great challenge. The girls will sail aboard one of the club's boats. For more information about this project you can consult the web www.retopelayovida.com.
