The local business proposes to create a Consell d'Urbanisme in Dénia

17 September 2013 - 00: 01

Based on the need to establish the clear definition of the model of the city of the future, the Federation of the Business Circle of the Marina Alta (CEDMA) has proposed to the City of Dénia the creation of a Consell d'Urbanisme with legal capacity to define that model town.

The president of the Federation, Sonja Dietz, explained that this Consell should be made up of representatives from all political groups, from different sectors of local business and all neighborhood associations, in order to obtain the maximum number of views possible and have more weight when defending the document before the Department.

These contributions were made in the course of a meeting with the mayor, Ana Kringe, councilors Pepa Font, María Mut and Vicente Chelet, and the technicians of the Urban Planning department attended by Esteban Cobos (Secretary General of CEDMA), Demetrio Garrigós and Alberto Morera (vice president and secretary of ACEAD), Benito Mestre (president of the Association of Tourism Promoters of Dénia), Cristina Selles (president of the Association of Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurs of the Marina Alta, AEHTMA), Remedios Cerdà (AEHTMA ) and the member of CEDMA Enrique Pla.

Perimeter Round

One of the issues discussed at the meeting was the Perimetral Ronda, proposing to include in the transitional rules because they can be modified. For Dietz, «la reciente puesta en marcha de la Estación Marítima y las acciones realizadas en torno al puerto han elevado la calidad de Dénia como destino turístico, pero sin el desarrollo adicional que supondría la Ronda estamos desaprovechando esa baza».
