The Salvation Army organizes the solidarity concert «Music X Food»

The Salvation Army of Dénia, a non-profit organization that helps the most disadvantaged in difficult times with food or clothing, has prepared a series of concerts under the title "Music for food" They want to encourage citizens to collaborate with their cause.

The most important of these concerts will take place on Tuesday 25 February at the Social Center of Denia, where act youth band together Salvation Army Division Yorkshire, a band of brass instruments and music played ranges from classic gospel songs to more modern pieces.

To go no entry is required, just bring food to work with the Salvation Army, which may carry from 18: 30, start time of the concert, until 20: 30 hours.

In addition to the concert at the Social Center, the Salvation Army will offer some more concerts: on Sunday 23rd at the Hotel Port Denia at 19:00 pm; on Tuesday 25, at Colegio Alfa y Omega; on Thursday the 27th, at the Santa Lucía Residence and La Pedrera Hospital and on Friday the 28th, at the "El Faro" Baptist Church in Jávea.

The Salvation Army takes more than 20 years to carry out social work and services in the church in San José Street, 14, corner with Pare Pere Street. Every day it offers dinners to around thirty people, and 35 families receive food monthly. It also has a solidarity store where different types of items are sold: clothes, shoes, books, etc., open Monday through Friday, from 9: 30 to 13: 30.
