The General Structural Plan will enter its last phase after the provisional approval by the Dénia Town Hall in plenary session on Thursday and its referral to the Ministry of Territorial Policy, Public Works and Mobility for its final approval, "scheduled for March or April of next year", García Nebot assured.

The director general has highlighted the "close collaboration" that the Ministry and the city council have maintained throughout the process of preparing the document.

The general director of Urbanism has affirmed that the planning document "is a much-needed milestone for Dénia and its inhabitants, since the city needs to have a legal framework that allows investors to work and establishes a city model."

Regarding the modifications suggested by the Ministry to the guide for processing urban development actions in the absence of general planning regulations, the Councilor for Territory, Maria Josep Ripoll, has informed the General Director that they are studying the letter sent by the Ministry to give him an answer. However, the director general has stressed that they are working "side by side to approve this new general plan, the ultimate objective of both administrations."
