Dénia Triathlon Team was the winner of the III Aquathlon of Els Poblets

Triathlon team Denia team was the winner of "Els Poblets Aquathlon III", a test organized by the council of the municipality with the support of the company mes3events.

The test that had the great novelty of holding in the morning, facilitated the development of the second segment of swimming since the sea presented a perfect state. On the starting line there were 52 participants who lined the 3.000 meters that took them from the doors of the town hall to the beach of Almadrava. A segment that was dominated by the triathlete of Xàbia, Toni Soler.

Soler became the first clearly distanced the transition zone, but after he lost a long time since I first forgot to pick up the dorsal and subsequently removing shoes before entering the sea. This was used by Juan Miguel García and Bernat Capellino who went by the xabiero the sea.

In the swim over a distance of 1.000 meters duel was between Garcia and Capellino that was gradually opening gap with his nearest rival. Bernat Capellino left with 40 second lead over Garcia water to meet the 3 kilometers of the third segment running.

In this last stretch he was able to increase the difference and clearly distanced entered into the goal. His time was 37: 03. The second place went to Juan Miguel García with a mark of 38: 24. The third place went to Rafael Sancho with a record of 40: 09.

In women the domain in the first segment was to Encarna Cardona which came first in the water but not the swim went fine and lost positions. The winner was Silvia Valero with a time of 42: 56. The second classified was Tamara Climent with a record of 43: 55 and the third javiense, Carmen Bolufer with a mark of 47: 13.

The delivery of trophies was attended by the Mayor of Els Poblets, Salvador Sendra who was accompanied by two other members of the municipal corporation.
