Muscat growing in the region, discussed in the VII Jornades Muscatel Marina Alta

The Municipal House of Culture of Dénia will host, on Saturday, November 28 in the morning, the Moscatell Jornades VII of the Marina Alta, An annual event on the muscat and culture organized by the Associació of Defensors of Marina Alta Muscatel and the city of Denia.

This year the central theme will be the regional area, in order to know the projects related to the cultivation of muscatel that are currently being carried out in the Marina Alta.

The day will begin at 9 in the morning with the reception of the participants. At 9:30, the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, and the president of the association, Jaume X. Soler Marí, will open the talks.

The first presentation, by the Agricultural Engineer José Manuel Bicetto, will focus on the BioMoscatell: a product that region. After a coffee break, at 11: 15 hours, Jaume Soler discuss X Moscatel jobs in Marina Alta, and the municipal archaeologist of Dénia, Josep Gisbert, will close the presentations talking about the Origin of Wine in Marina Alta.

Elena Cebrián, Regional Minister for Agriculture, Environment, Climate Change and Rural Development will close the conference around noon to finish with a wine of honor.
