Summer's office Les Marines meets nine years in operation

Last Friday, July 1, the Les Marines summer clinic came into operation, for the ninth consecutive year, with which the Dénia Health Department reinforces health care in the capital of the Marina Alta during the months of greatest tourist influx.

The clinic provides service to residents until the end of August. The uninterrupted hours are Monday through Friday from 10: 00 18-: 00 hours, and on Saturdays from 10: 00 15-: 00. Facilities include 160 2 square meters spread between consultations, 1 treatment room, multipurpose room and 1 1 2 waiting room with toilets, and is staffed by a doctor, a nurse and a support person.

The work of this office is essential in the Dianense summer, taking into account that during the months of July and August 2015 it provided 2.823 services. This morning the Healthcare Director of the Dénia Department of Health, Dr. Juan Cardona, accompanied by the Health Councilor of the Dianense City Council, Cristina Morera, the Director of the Primary Care Clinical Area, Dr. Ana Mª Morote and the Primary Care Nursing Coordinator, Remedios Ferrando.
