November 17 from 2015 - 16: 59

This is the most demanded course at the Conservatory of Music Tenor Cortis of Denia, which should also be part of the curriculum of the professional educations of conservatories, as established by the rules, but the Dianense center can not offer it to their students.

We speak of the subject of singing, a demand raised many years ago, which was even embodied in a motion approved unanimously in the plenary session of the March Corporation of 2007 and to which, to date, no response has yet been given.

Therefore, the center management team, led by Jaume Soler, has attended a meeting in Valencia with the Director General of Vocational Training and Specialized Education, Marina Sanchez Costas, who raised him this and other needs of the center.

To answer this first demand, the general director has been asked to carry out the process of formally apply to the territorial direction of Alicante.

At the meeting, to which the representatives of the center have attended accompanied by the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, and the councilor for education, Rafa Carrió, the management team of the Tenor Cortis has transferred to the regional manager the need to build a new conservatory in Dénia since the current facilities, on Temple de Sant Telm street, "they are not functional, they do not have a concert hall and they are not accessible".

In this regard, Sanchez Costas replied that the request will be studied, although it has warned that currently do not have the resources to carry it out.
