The rocket announces the start of the Dénia Festival
They have had to spend two years, but Dénia is once again in the middle of the Festivities of the Santíssima Sang. It seemed that this day would never come after two years of pandemic, but here we are again. And the expectation was enormous, gathering several hundred people in the Quatre Cantons to see the lighting of the announcing rocket launched by the commission and representatives of the three fifths that have joined on this occasion. Until next Sunday the 17th, the capital of the Marina Alta will celebrate its Fiesta Mayor, initiated with the gunpowder of this announcing rocket, and farewell with the gunpowder of the traditional fireworks, this time in the form of a pyromusical show.
