The Dénia beach bar that has crept into the Forbes list of the best in Spain
Dénia, with its approximately 20 kilometers of beach, has countless proposals to be able to have a drink or enjoy a meal with sea views. With so many places on foot or on the beachfront, it is logical that one of them is among the most popular destinations. However, what is not so common is that one of them appears in the pages of Forbes among the best beach bars in Spain. But this 2022 has happened.
Like every year, Forbes magazine has chosen the, for them, the best beach bars in Spain for this 2022. A list in which there are 25 places from all over the country and in which, as expected, many aspire to appear.
Dianense representation comes from the battered Deveses. Although there is less and less beach in the place, a beach bar has managed to maintain the charm of that part of our coastline and draw the attention of the magazine's experts. This is The Sunshine Baths. Forbes has said of it: «An oasis that brings directly from the garden (and the ocean, of course) to the table a product of authentic proximity. There are salads (such as tomato, mango, avocado and onion), tellinas, scallops, dried octopus from Dénia, grilled sardines, Iberian lizard... and Aperol Spritz. It makes our mouths water just thinking about it."
It is not the only one in the Marina Alta to appear among the best beach bars in Spain according to Forbes, but neighboring Xàbia also has its representation with the local La Siesta.
