Cultural programmers from all over the Community have met at the Social Center of Dénia in the annual Assembly of programmers of the Valencià Cultural Circuit. The event took place today, Tuesday November 15, with the participation of 82 municipalities of the 91 that make up the Circuit.
The session has served to share ideas, which this year will be aimed at promoting dance in particular. The mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, and the Councilor for Culture, Raúl García de la Reina, have welcomed the representatives of the city councils and the universities integrated into the network, highlighting "the growing importance of being able to organize cultural activities every day in the times we live in." Along these lines, the mayor has confirmed the consistory's commitment to promoting culture and cooperation between municipalities.
The Circuit is a project of the Valencian Institute of Culture (IVC) created in 2016. It is currently made up of more than 90 members; Dénia is part of it since its creation. It is a network that connects the IVC, 91 town halls and two Valencian public universities -University of Alicante and Jaume I University of Castellón- for the development of activities related to theatre, dance, circus, music, cinema and theater .
Projects such as the Circuit Teatral Valencià, the Red Musical Valenciana or the Circuit CulturArts are integrated into the circuit.
