Dénia Sports Center provides scholarships for top swimmers swimming lessons

The Dénia Sports Center has awarded scholarships to eleven students of swimming courses to join the competition team for free. The scholarships, valued at around € 1.000, have been awarded by the competition team's own students and aim to “maintaining good health of the sport, promoting sports and healthy habits among younger".

The scholarships are awarded athletes; Max Winkle, Rocio Lozoya, Vega Vizcaya, Noelia Pagiazzo, Nayara Poveda, Jorge Santos Juanes, Angel Fernandez, Maria Escortell, Marc Mas, Daniel Nadal and Clara Serra.

Aqualia, the company that manages these facilities, is betting heavily on swimming, since it is one of the most complete and recommended sports to achieve a healthy life at any age.

This initiative is included within a framework of actions that the company Aqualia conducted nationwide to promote sport and healthy habits. The company, which manages more than 20 sports centers throughout Spain, also promotes competitive sport among children. Therefore his delegation Levante organizes every year Intercentros swimming competition that is accessed over 4.000 students of different populations of Alicante and Murcia and which are spread over € 8.000 in direct prizes for participants.

This year, the competition was held this June in the Murcian town of Cabezo de Torres. This time, the team Dénia Sports Center has provided 31 160 of swimmers, classifying 90% of the team to the finals and getting 16 42 of podiums.

With this success a great season of racing team effort Denia Sports Center who has worked hard all year culminates getting great results both in the Regional League and competition centers Levante and Murcia.
