CD Denia Canals could not face such adversity and to 2 1 fell
CD Dénia added its second league defeat by falling 2 to 1 in the field of "Quatre Camins", against UD Canals. The dianenses could not with the adversity that meant that the rival went ahead before the first minute of play and later with totally partial arbitration decisions made by the Valencian team.
When the players had barely placed themselves on the pitch, Izán sent a ball to Carlos Calatayud who, with a shot from outside the area, managed to beat Maxi. The team led by Juan Carlos Signes responded well to this goal and began to control the game.
