The Dénia CD approves the electoral calendar, which would elect president the July 6

The Dénia Sports Club held this Wednesday afternoon the extraordinary meeting with the elections for the new presidency as the main item on the agenda. In accordance with the club's statutes, the elections were officially called yesterday, and from today until June 23 the call and the census of members up to date with payment and who, therefore, have the right to vote will be published.

Between the 24 and the 28 of June the candidatures to the presidency of the club can be presented. After confirming that the submitted applications meet all the requirements, the 4 of July will publish the candidatures.

If there are no candidatures at that point, a period of 15 days will be opened to establish a new calendar. In the case of a single candidacy, a new board would be automatically proclaimed. If there were more than one candidacy, the elections would be held on the 6 in July.

At the moment only Gemma Estrela has confirmed that he will present himself to hold the presidency of the club again. Who was his rival in the last elections, Javier Ferreres, will confirm throughout the week if he presents his candidacy.

The assembly also approved the new electoral board, which was made up of the partners Fernando Reig, Raul Ferrando, Emilio Fuentenebro, Pepe Ronda and José Luis García.

CD Dénia currently has 417 members up to date with their payments. Around 40 people attended the extraordinary general assembly this Wednesday, barely 10% of the total.
