The provincial championship juvenile, child and youth karate will be held in Dénia

The Karate Championship in Alicante juvenile, infantile and juvenile categories held at the Municipal Sports Pavilion Dénia next February 2.

The Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos Signes, presented the sporting event accompanied by the president of the Valencian Community Karate Federation, Miguel Ángel Gómez, the president of the Okinawa Dénia Karate Club, Enrique Aledo Bañuls, and his son Enrique Aledo Kemmerer, secretary and technician of the Dianense club.

The championship will bring together about 250 participants of the province, eight of which belong to the club Okinawa Dénia.

Accreditation and weighing athletes be effected between the 8.45 and 9.30 hours for both Kata as kumite. The competition will begin at 10 14 hours and hours scheduled the trophy.

President of the Federation of Karate congratulated Valencia Dénia City Council "for its special sensitivity to this sport" and the club Okinawa, "the oldest of the province" for the "great work done".

This is the second year that Denia is home to a provincial championship karate and the organization hopes to achieve the success of the previous edition.
