Boga Marina El Portet awarded three awards at the Gala of the Valencian Remo

Boga Marina El Portet was awarded three awards at the I Annual Gala of the Valencian Remo which it was held in the Aula CAM Alicante on Saturday. In this event the Valencian awards rowing clubs most prominent in the various competitions played during the season were awarded. Modalities were awarded the Olympic rowing, rowing sea, Yolas + 4 and fixed bank (Llaüt Valencia and Mediterranean).

The president of the Rowing Federation of Valencia, Juan Bautista Romero Soriano opened the gala by congratulating all athletes who are part of the oar for their involvement and interest to aggrandize the sport. The gala was attended by President of the Provincial Council of Alicante, César Sánchez, who stressed rowing values ​​such as commitment, teamwork and effort to link them to the importance of these in any area of ​​society.

Boga teams Marina El Portet were awarded for second place in the Liga de Remo de Mar, mode Skiff, by the hand of Susana Mut Alemany. The same position was occupied by the veteran women's team in the League of Yolas a 4+ formed by, Susana Mut, Doris Müller, Vicki Varela and Ulla Heim with Raúl Andrade at the helm and Raquel Giménez. The veteran male team from Yolas a 4+ formed by Patxi Mata, Dani Pérez, Rafael de Bustamante and Julián Rodríguez with Raúl Andrade at the helm and Ángel Colás received the third place award.

In this event, in addition, the Club de Rem Dénia and the Real Club Náutico Dénia were awarded for the results of their veteran male and female youth teams respectively, in the Liga de Banco Fijo del Mediterráneo.

This first show was well received by many rowers who filled the capacity of the Aula Cam and lived a day of recognition and fellowship among all clubs in Valencia. Near 1500 athletes, family and friends could share and applaud each delivered award.
