After the complaints of the neighbors for the state of the first regiment of Les Marines, the City Council has committed to contract a company that is in charge of the cleaning and reconditioning of the canal.

During this week, it has become clear the poor state in which is the first regiment of Les Marines, which presents a lot of garbage and what was aimed to be fecal spills, in addition to accompanying a strong and annoying smell. Aqualia, after an analysis carried out, has ruled out that it is fecal waste.

Despite the fact that the contents of the stream have not reached the sea, its apparently unsanitary conditions are of great concern to the neighbors. The Councilor for Ecological Transition, Maite Pérez Conejero, has promised the City Council to hire a specialized company to carry out cleaning work in the canal as soon as possible.
