The City Council in two years reduced hiring the surveillance and rescue on the beaches

The Governing Board of the City of Dénia has approved this week the contracting file of the health care service, rescue and first aid, adapted bathroom assistance and other actions on the beaches of Dénia.

This time the contract will be two years, compared to four years of the previous tender, with the aim of having greater control by the City Council of the actions of the concessionaire and thus have "the clearest guidelines", according to the hiring councilor Óscar Mengual.

The contracting will be carried out by open procedure with a bidding budget of 1.207.958,16 euros, excluding VAT, corresponding to the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The current contract was awarded to Cruz Roja Dénia.
