The expropriation of land from the Beniadlà Plan currently occupied by the Marina Salud Hospital continues to cause headaches for the government team, as a ruling by the High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community requires them to pay more than 8 million euros - of which 760.000 euros were already paid in a previous sentence- for the land that was once bought for 12 euros/square meter and which now increases in value to 130 euros/square meter.

The councilor for finance, Vicente Chelet, explained that the resources come from various farms that add up to a total of 64.742 square meters, although the Dianense city council will appeal said sentence since they find it excessive.

Chelet mentioned that this whole situation could have been avoided if the previous municipal government had submitted an Urbanistic Program by which the Consistory obtained these free lands and also an 10% of lands of use in the whole sector also free. Likewise, the mayor has stated that with this program the owners would have received building land.
