The Department of Social Services of the City Council of Dénia launches, as of Monday, March 30, a telephone service for psychological support to citizens “to help the residents of Dénia to go through these complicated moments that can generate anguish, stress and concern among the population, ”says the councilor for the area, Cristina Morera.

The "Friendly Phone" service will be staffed by professionals from the department and will be offered from Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 14 p.m.

Two lines have been set up, one to deal with issues related to the family environment (telephone number 618 936 332) and the other to speak to people over 30 years old (number 620 636 908).

The Councilor for Social Services hopes that the initiative "helps to alleviate the restlessness, fears and negative feelings that many people feel in a situation like the one we are experiencing" and recalls that "the" Friend Phone "service does not replace or it intends, to others that health professionals can offer, nor is it a municipal information service or emergency care ”.

On the other hand, the City Council of Dénia makes available to young people under 30 the Consulta Jove service, which continues to be active during the health alert attended by the psychologist Mayte Ahuir. The contact telephone number is 638 540 773.
