The city council of Dénia elaborates Urban Standards that respect the General Structural Plan

August 31 from 2018 - 17: 31

The City Council of Dénia has elaborated a proposal of Transitory Urbanistic Norms that are compatible with the General Structural Plan, which is about to leave. According to the mayor of Territory, María Josep Ripoll, "The NUT 2018 aims to fill the existing legal void", It is a way to save work to the Department of Housing to which they will be sent.

Ripoll explained that the new municipal proposal is a minimum and transitory document, "limited spatially and temporarily", which has been done with two basic criteria: on the one hand, adjust to reality, in the existing consolidated city, limiting its scope in spaces where it is necessary, without qualifying or disqualifying the ground, and on the other, not contradicting the Plan General that is supported by sectoral reports.

"Those responsible for the Department have realized the discrepancies between the NUT and the PGE, and have requested collaboration to repair them with the proposal that we will raise to the Department", he pointed out, Ripoll.

The vice mayor, Rafa Carrió insisted that with this proposal for transitory regulations, they continue with the processing and the established roadmap, that is, approving the General Structural Plan.

The two councilors stressed that the purpose of the new proposal is to provide the City with a minimum legal framework to resolve licenses through the usual way while processing the General Structural Plan, since right now, as Ripoll indicated, "We are working, processing licenses, in a context without planning using the processing guidelines without planning".

Before being sent to the Ministry, the document of the new rules must be approved in a plenary session that is scheduled for next week. Later it will be the own Ministry that will have to approve it so that they come into force.
