The City Council takes a step in the study for the new tender for garbage collection and street cleaning

The Local Government Board of the City of Dénia approved yesterday morning the hiring of the previous work necessary for the drafting of the new contract for garbage collection and road cleaning that will be tendered during the 2020, year of completion of the current contract. The Governing Board has hired the company Auditesa for the works prior to the drafting of the technical specifications that will consist of a field study in which the current containers destined for the collection service of urban and selective solid waste will be photographed and inventoried. the current routes for the collection of urban, selective and bulky waste, detailing yields and critical points.

Based on the results of the field study, applying the production ratios of populations of similar characteristics in Dénia, optimized work routes with the necessary human and technical resources will be proposed. In addition, Auditesa will analyze the needs of the municipality in road cleaning based on which a work plan will be designed. This work plan will determine the human and technical resources, as well as the cost of the service.

The objective of this contract is to design a planning of services that will be used to calculate the adjusted bidding budget and establish minimum levels of services to be performed and basic technical requirements of the new contract.

The works have a cost of 14.900, VAT not included, and will be carried out in the next four months. In this process, “The government team begins to fulfill in its second point of the government program in which in 2020, the new contract has to be tendered in which we will include measures that reinforce the cleanliness of the city and that allow us to get the most net Dénia that we all fly ”, said the delegate director of ecological transition, Maite Pérez.
