07 2016 April - 14: 20

Since 1995 was remodeled Marqués de Campo Street, the main artery of the city, nobody has touched the road or the sidewalk. Over the years and the vehicles that have traveled through it in these more than twenty years have caused significant differences in the cobblestones that make up the road, which until now have not been repaired.

Well, the Department of Works and Services of the City Council of Dénia has announced that next Monday, April 11, work to improve the road will begin in the most affected section, the one between Diana and Carlos streets Sentí. The actions, which will be carried out by the Works and Services brigade, will consist of manually removing the paving stone from the road in the areas where it is sunk, leveling the base and replacing the paving. Likewise, the transverse black stone stripes that are broken will be replaced.

The area councilor, Maria Josep Ripoll, stated that the scheduled execution time for the works is one week, "Although it could vary according to the incidents we find when lifting the cobblestone". During the duration of the works, traffic from Pare Pere Street will be detoured down the street Ramón y Cajal.

The remaining phases are carried out successively in the coming months. Some work as Ripoll, were necessary "since since the street was remodeled, there has been no action on the road".
