- "Rite" to celebrate the muscatel culture in the Teulada Moraira Auditorium
The commemorative activities for Muscatel Day will combine a unique dance show with a showroom.
Thursday 6 July, the Auditori Teulada Moraira will be the main setting for the celebration of the commemorative activities of the Muscat Day in 2023. The culture of this variety will be shown through "Ritual", a unique dance show by the renowned company “Otra danza”.
"Ritual" brings together award-winning choreographer asun noales, from Elche, and the artist Susana Guerrero, who combine the symbolic nature of Mediterranean initiation rituals through dance, sculpture and music. This show has traveled to exceptional places in Spain and Europe. After the show, a showroom will be held in the garden area, with the participation of the following wineries affiliated with the PDO Vinos de Alicante: Bodega Teulada, Les Freses, Bocopa, Bodegas Xaló, Pepe Mendoza Casa Agrícola, Bodegas Riko and Bodegas Las Virtudes. Guests will have the opportunity to taste the versatility of its products during this special night, accompanied by a tasting of local sausages provided by Carnes y embutidos Domingo de Teulada. The event will begin at 21:00 p.m. and will be open to the general public, all of which will be enlivened by the composer and vocalist Estela Malonda.
It will be a night in which the importance of one of the most indigenous products in the region of Marina Alta: the Muscat grape.
