24 December 2020 - 06: 18

The runner of the Marina Alta sponsored by Marina El Portet, Alván Salvá, will not have much time, these parties, not even to take the nougat. Salvá has decided to participate in the Autonomous Mountain Racing League that starts next January 17 in Orihuela with a route of 17 km and a difference in altitude of +1.100. It will do so in the hands of the Grup Espeológico Gatense and with a circuit of four tests in total.

The calendar will take him to Rótova on January 31, to Crevillent on February 14 and El Genovés on the 28 of that same month. These are very demanding tests where the athlete will have to prove his worth, so that these parties will take advantage of to train without rest. Alván Salvá trusts that the discomfort that he has been dragging on his ankle will allow him to compete normally.

The athlete says goodbye this year 2020 "In the same way that I imagine a good part of the athletes have done, and that is that we all hope that this 2021 things will improve substantially and we can finally recover our work routines".

In this sense, the Gata de Gorgos rider has the satisfaction of having been able to compete in some tests where he managed to get on the podium. One of them, the Gegant de Pedra, which was played in February -before the pandemic arrived-, and in which with 300 meters to go to the finish line, he managed to climb positions until finishing runner-up.
