Two rescues in an afternoon: heat stroke in Segària and wound in the Cova Tallada

Later moved the one of this Tuesday in the region. At the 13: 38 hours, a team of the Regional Park of Firemen rescued a man of French nationality and 38 years old who was making a hiking route in the Sierra de Segària, in the municipality of Beniarbeig.

The man, who was accompanied by another man and a woman, suffered heat stroke and the Alfa 1 helicopter had to come to his rescue. Upon arrival they stabilized him and put a track on him. Thus he has been transferred to the Consorcio park in Dénia, where an ambulance was waiting for him and took him to the regional hospital.

Rescue in the Cova Tallada

Also in Dénia, after 15:00 p.m., a woman had to be rescued after suffering a fall while on an excursion in the Cova Tallada. The woman, 43 years old and a resident of Riba-Roja, was bathing with her family in the cave when she apparently slipped, hitting her head and back.

A maritime rescue motorcycle and a Red Cross zodiac were mobilized to the Arenetes beach, at the end of Les Rotes, and they took the woman to the Moll de la Pansa, in the port, from where they took her to the hospital. Local Police officers and a Basic Life Support ambulance participated in the rescue.
