They stop a fake doctor practicing in the Hospital de Dénia

The National Police has arrested in Murcia a man of 42 years who worked as a resident in the Hospital de Dénia thanks to false certificates to collegiate in Valencia and Alicante. The arrested allegedly used falsified medical certificates by himself and worked in the Valencian Health Service from 2008.

Inció research by the Court of Instruction No. 5 of Murcia, alerted by a possible falsification of several academic certificates of the University of Granada presented by the fake doctor for validation at the University of Murcia.

After initial investigations confirmed that the suspect had never studied at the University of Granada and therefore lacked the necessary certification to practice as a doctor.

Currently the fake doctor was working as a medical resident in Denia and Calpe outpatient. He is accused as allegedly responsible for crimes of instrusismo, fraud, forgery and money laundering capitalesy has been brought to justice in Murcia. The head of the magistrate No. 5 of Murcia, Isabel Carrillo, has given provisional liberty with the obligation to appear in court every two weeks, the withdrawal of the passport and the ban on leaving Spain.

From the Hospital de Dénia issued a statement explaining that «se trata de una persona que se encontraba realizando su periodo de formación departamento de Salud de Dénia, tras haber obtenido dicha plaza en la convocatoria oficial que realiza el Ministerio de Sanidad, tras haber aportado toda la documentación requerida ante el Ministerio y la Conselleria de Sanidad y sin que nada hiciera pensar que pudiera existir falsedad documental».
