Outstanding performance of the dianenses athletes in the 'Penyagolosa Trail'

The province of Castellón vibrated with the "Penyagolosa Trail" and turned in each of the towns with runners who have flown in the paths of the MiM and the CSP.

Started from the center of Castellón, a race of 108 kilometers, 5600 meters of positive slope and that is part of the circuits Ultra Trail World Tour y Spain Ultra Cup. The locality turned with the runners and the streets were filled with atmosphere to give a push to the runners.

In this test, Encarna Cardona of the Baleària Diànium Athletics Club took the podium to be third in the Veterans category. Cardona finished the test in 18: 20.52. Another of the athletes of the Dianense club that participated was Alberto Samper, who made a time of 19: 08.42.

In the MiM modality, on a route of 60 kilometers with a positive height difference of 3.300 meters, the participants crossed the towns of Castellón, Borriol, Les Useres and Xodos, to reach the goal located in Sant Joan de Penyagolosa at 1.280 meters. height.
