Dismissed Vicente Chelet demand against the City of Dénia

The Administrative Litigation Court Number 3 of Alicante has dismissed the lawsuit filed by former Popular Councilor Vicente Chelet against the City of Dénia. In the same, Chelet denounced that, after passing through the session, his professional career as a lawyer has been affected, since now he cannot defend any issue that links the city council.

Michelet claimed to be indemnified by paying a monthly 24 application dated 14 2016 April. In its application, alleged that Vicente Chelet "the limitations of the exclusivity regime prevented him from participating as a legal professional in resolutions, instructions, and hiring, especially the hiring of lawyers to carry out municipal legal matters; and that this also prevented him from participating, given his status as a lawyer, in the matters in which he would have been Councilor instructor or in hiring, as well as the files of resolutions of the different areas when having privileged information on them ".

It is recalled that in September 2015 in the City Council, and unanimously agreed to reject the compensation claimed by the exconcejal. Last Wednesday, after receiving the consistory sentence, he realized it in the Governing Board. This Friday morning the sentence has been transferred to the finance committee information.
