Denia and Oliva join forces to communicate both populations with a bridge over the river Molinell

November 09 from 2015 - 13: 47

Despite belonging to two different provinces, Denia and Oliva have many things in common. They have passed the mayors of both towns, Vicent Grimalt and David Gonzalez in the meeting in Dénia to promote a historical project: the union between the two populations with a bridge over the river Molinell.

Although dating back more than two decades ago, this project has never seen the light, so now both munícipes have agreed to join forces to ask council to perform the work. Because for the moment it seems that the train will not be one of these two municipalities, the goal now is to build this bridge. Vicent Grimalt is committed to contact the Alicante County Council to request an appointment with the responsible provincial roads, which will attend accompanied by his counterpart Oliva.

The meeting also served to meet a request from the mayor of Oliva concerning the union of the two locations continuing the greenway of Dénia through the town of Oliva.
