Dénia returns to the times of agitating toy industry
The pieces exhibited in the Museu dels Joguets de Dénia are vital for the knowledge of the centennial history of the toy in Dénia and to remember how it was played in the past. These toys, factories, work, the beats of the toy industry are art and part of the memory of our elders. The Museu dels Joguets wants to recall those times of engine noise, belts rattling, the smell of paint and new wood, cargo traffic on the docks of the port and train stations, and the trucks that transported art, the design and work of Dénia in cities and in nearby and distant markets.
That is why it has designed three days of activities, on December 8, 11 and 12, in which, through an urban itinerary with an expert guide and a visit to the Museu dels Joguets, the public will approach the world of the toy industry from the city.

The activities, for reasons of COVID-19, will have a maximum of 35 participants, who will be listed in order of prior registration date, essential to participate. Registrations will be made at the Ethnological Museum of Dénia, telephone 966420260, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 10.30 a.m. to 13.00 p.m. and from 16.00 p.m. to 19.00 p.m.
