Dénia returns to double its new cases of coronavirus
The Ministry of Health has updated the data on the incidence of the coronavirus to which it has added the results obtained from the PCR tests in the last 4 days. In the case of the Dénia health department, and more specifically in the regional capital, this has meant a strong increase in the number of infections.
The curve of the Marina Alta grows again after a final enjoying several weeks with very small numbers of infections. The October bridge has once again shaken the incidence of a region that had stabilized after the summer season. There are 43 new positives registered throughout the region, which was added in the update on Friday 28. This shows the growth in the trend of infections in the Marina Alta, which already has an accumulated incidence of 51'82 and a total 1.473 positives since March.
Again, as in the worst weeks of August, most of these positives belong to Dénia, being the main municipality that causes this increase in data in the entire region. The capital goes from 11 new infections notified on Friday to 20. A dangerous trend that almost duplicates its data on new infections with each update.
The 37 cases registered in the last 14 days in Dénia, which already has a total of 821 positives since the pandemic began, has caused the accumulated incidence to rise to 87'75 infections per 100.000 inhabitants.
