Dénia working on an inventory of emissions in the city CO2

30 last May, full of Dénia approved the accession of the city in the Covenant of Mayors. From that moment, the city promised to meet the commitment to energy efficiency 20-20-20 set by the European Union, which seeks to reduce 20% of greenhouse gas emissions and cut 20% of energy consumption the 2020.

To meet these objectives, Dénia begin to make a Municipal Emissions Inventory Reference (calculation of the amount of CO2 issued as a result of energy consumption in the city for one year), laying the foundation for operational work and protocol Incio.

The Provincial Council of Alicante, through the Provincial Energy Agency subsidizes the preparation of the inventory, which made the company Innovasem.

To start working, last week the delegate councilor of the Local Agenda 21, Vicente Chelet, José Luis Nuín, director of the Provincial Energy Agency of Alicante, Antonio Belmar, technician of the Alicante Provincial Council, Loli Moltó, from the company Innovasem and technical staff of the Agenda 21 of Dénia.
