Dénia will have 225 new free public parking spaces
The City Council of Dénia has planned the preparation of two new plots to be used as free public parking. Since last week, work has been underway on a 400 m2 plot located on Francisca Morento street, corner with Ramón Ortega street, which will be able to house up to 25 cars. The works are expected to be completed in a few days.
On the other hand, last week the Governing Board gave the green light to start the refurbishment works on a plot in the area of the polygon (Madrigueres section) to be used for public parking. The site, of approximately 6.000 m2, will have the capacity to park 200 cars.
Guide for processing urban actions
The Governing Board also approved the Guide for processing urban actions in the absence of general planning regulations, which will be presented today, September 28, before the Municipal Urban Council.
Judicially annulled the transitory urban regulations, since July 28 Dénia does not have a general urban plan. Until the formulation of the new plan and the resolution of the allegations, a guide is necessary to be able to continue with the urban planning process, whose main novelty is the obligation for the licenses to be accompanied by a landscape integration study.
The guiding document, largely based on the Land, Urban Planning and Landscape Planning Law (TRLOTUP), is necessary in order to continue granting planning licences.
