In general, the last quarter of 2021 was extraordinary for the province of Alicante. For the first time since the pandemic began, construction activity exceeds that of 2019. To be exact, 1.564 homes have been built since October, while in the last quarter of 219 there were 1.463. In addition, it has grown by 12% over the total for 2020.

And this, how does it affect Dénia? As is the case in the province, the capital of the Marina Alta registered a high level of construction during the past year. So much so that it is placed among the five cities that have built the most in 2020. Specifically, with 345 new homes, it ranks as the fifth municipality on the list, surpassed by the capital, Alacant, Sant Joan, Elx and Oriola.
